研究领域

1. 蚕丝蛋白的组成与功能。利用蛋白质组学等方法发掘组成蚕丝的新成分;结合生物化学、材料学等多学科交叉的方法研究蚕丝蛋白的理化特性、胶粘性、抗菌性等,揭示蚕丝蛋白特性与功能的分子机制。

2. 昆虫丝蛋白的起源与进化。建立泌丝昆虫及昆虫丝蛋白数据库,阐明丝蛋白序列结构特征与丝纤维材料理化特性的关系模型;回答丝蛋白起源与进化等基本科学问题;为改造和设计新型丝蛋白材料提供理论支撑。

3. 高性能生物材料的合成与应用。在解析昆虫丝蛋白优越性能机制的基础上,组合高强度、高弹性、强粘性、强抗菌性等特殊性能的分子模块,利用家蚕丝腺生物反应器合成并制备新型生物材料。
