研究兴趣和方向:
1.家蚕朊蛋白研究。基于朊蛋白的结构特性,在模式昆虫家蚕中寻找朊病毒蛋白及淀粉样蛋白,解析其功能。在家蚕体系中表达动物朊蛋白及神经衰退疾病相关蛋白,筛选鉴定抗朊病毒的蛋白及信号通路,为治疗朊病毒病等神经衰退相关疾病提供新的途径。
2. 蚕丝蛋白结构和性能的研究。 结合朊病毒结构与蚕丝纤维成纤机制进行比较,改造蚕丝性能。
3. 食用蚕蛹及药用僵蚕。通过遗传改造,获得产量更大营养价值更高的食用蚕蛹;改造白僵菌,使僵蚕产生更多药物活性成分。
